When it comes to other regions, Middle East & Africa were the second fastest growing regions between 2006-16, with average annual growth of 7.4%. This region also holds the second spot for strongest forecast growth in food services sector for the next ten years, with a CAGR of 7.3% till 2026. The Americas – specifically the United States and Canada – and Europe have arguably the most mature food services markets in the world and so historic growth between 2006-16 has been lower at 6.1% and 4.2% respectively, as these markets were more saturated prior to 2006.
